This operation is used to apply any image (a signature, a trademark, etc) to
the source image. Settings of this operation are adjusted with the help of the
following options.
Apply watermark from file – specify a graphics file to be applied
to source images. You can enter file name manually or call standard selection
dialog box with the help of "..." button.
Horizontal alignment – use this dropdown list to specify horizontal
alignment of the applied image: left, center or right.
Vertical alignment - use this dropdown list to specify vertical
alignment of the applied image: top, center or bottom.
Horizontal offset – enter the value of horizontal offset for
the applied image in pixels. The value is counted from the edge of the source
image regarding alignment. This value can be either positive or negative whole
number.
Vertical offset - enter the value of vertical offset for the
applied image in pixels. The value is counted from the edge of the source image
regarding alignment. This value can be either positive or negative whole number.
Using method – use this dropdown list to specify the way of
applying a watermark to the source image. Two methods are available here. If
you choose Alpha blend method, the program will first make the watermark
semitransparent and then apply it to the source image. If you choose Overdraw
method, the watermark is applied as is.

Example of usage
Image piracy is a common thing on the Web. Pictures of goods created for your
online shop can be instantly stolen and displayed on websites of other shops.
To avoid it, you can equip all images with a watermark containing your trademark
or the name of your shop. In this case your images will be protected from piracy.
