Color profile

Color profiles are data sets used to transform values of color range. They include information on color, hue, saturation and brightness. Color profiles are used to describe compliance of colors of input and output devices in color model terms.

This operation is used to apply internal or external color profiles to images. To adjust its settings, you can use one of these three parameters.
Ignore color profile – ignore color profiles contained in the files.
Use built-in color profile – transform images in compliance with color profiles contained in them. If a file doesn’t have an internal color profile, this operation will be ignored.
Use external color profile - transform images in compliance with an external color profile. If you select this parameter, you should specify a color profile in External profile path box. You can do it manually or use the standard Open file dialog box, which is called out by pressing the button labeled with dots.

Example of usage

Use this operation to make sure that graphics files received from a device are correctly displayed or printed on other devices in full compliance with source images.
